The Government has therefore proposed the Fugitive Offenders and Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Legislation (Amendment) Bill 2019 (Bill) to tackle two problems, namely (i) the Taiwan homicide case and (ii) in the same time plugging the loopholes

The goal is to gauge Hong Kong people’s views on the amendment of the “Fugitive Offenders Ordince”. The research instrument used in this study was designed entirely by the HKUPOP Team after consulting commissioning party.
